I've been sitting on a couple ideas for ages and just haven't really got them out of my head.
The first being the Lead Balloon. Dunno if anyone's seen that ad (can't remember what for) where there's a water balloon fight played in slow-mo and you see the balloons burst, it looks absolutely groovy and I wanted to paint it coz I thought getting the water right and the shading on the balloon would be a bit of a challenge. I was also playing around with the idea of doing it completely in graphite, that whole dark silver/shiny kinda look would really make it for me so that lead me to think what a lead balloon would look like hitting the floor... I don't know it just goes on from there but if I ever get around to doing it I wonder what the final outcome will be.
The second idea was something along the lines of a line of women in designer clothing, standing very up right with their heads faced all up to one side as if to look snobby, all these women would be larger in size, then I'd a thin girl in the foreground looking very distressed because she can't find clothes to fit her, she'd look disorientated, confused, angry because of the lac of clothes in her size... I was thinking of adding some dialogue and doing it in a bit of a pop art fashion. I guess we'll see. So if anyone took the time to read my first post, thanks for listening to my Sunday morning dribble. Have a good week
